The Battle for God's Truth in an Age of Compromise

The question: “What does the Bible say about Christians using Halloween to evangelize the lost?”

First off, let me reiterate that I treat Halloween (October 31st) like any other day in that “This is the day the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalms 118:24 paraphrase) It is the Lord’s day and therefore I will have nothing to do with the devil’s holiday, Halloween. If I were going about my normal (please take note of the word ‘normal’) activities and an opportunity arose to share Christ, then by God’s grace I would do so. However, I would not go make a special trip out or do something special on Halloween (October 31st) as an evangelistic outreach because of the purely demonic origins of the holiday.
